Accountabilities
- Establish Strong Relationships: Identify and build close liaisons with physicians, local key opinion leaders, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions to achieve objectives and elevate awareness of AstraZeneca’s oncology portfolio, with emphasis on breast cancer.
- Effective Communication: Utilize approved promotional and medical materials to clearly convey data‑driven, compliant messages; translate complex clinical evidence (including multiple indications) into relevant insights for physician conversations.
- Account Excellence: Develop clear account plans, segmentation and prioritization, and disciplined call cycles focused on measurable outcomes; proactively adjust plans based on data and cross‑functional input.
- Cross‑Functional Execution: Coordinate structured activities with MSLs, KAMs, and commercial partners to align objectives and ensure consistent, compliant engagement when multiple team members interact with the same healthcare professionals.
- Professional Events: Organize and deliver local seminars, workshops, group product presentations, and mini‑symposia for doctors in a highly professional manner, strengthening scientific exchange and the Company’s reputation.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market dynamics, sales performance, and competitor activities; synthesize clinical trial endpoints and real‑world evidence to identify opportunities and risks, providing recommendations to maximize impact.
- Accurate Reporting: Plan and report activities accurately and on time, meeting AZ SFE requirements and KPI targets; maintain transparent, proactive communication and updates.
- Ethics and Compliance: Conduct all activities in strict compliance with high ethical standards, the Code of Ethics, supporting Policies and Standards, and Company Values.
- Patient Safety and Quality: Adhere to AstraZeneca’s standards for Patient Safety and Product Quality Complaints reporting, prioritizing patient well‑being.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrate learning agility; stay current on oncology (especially breast cancer) data, indications, guidelines, and relevant literature; adapt quickly to changes in the portfolio, evidence, and field execution.
Essential Skills/Experience
- University degree is preferably in Medicine or Pharmacy.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Oncology; depth in breast cancer will be highly valued.
- At least 2 years of Key Account Manager experience or equivalent senior client‑facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and synthesize complex clinical data; fluency with trial designs, endpoints, and real‑world evidence.
- Strong account management: proven segmentation, prioritization, call cycle discipline, and outcomes orientation.
- Experience working cross‑functionally, collaborative, team‑player mindset with transparent communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling, and compliant messages.
- Personal initiative, ambition, and motivation; adaptive to change and comfortable in a fast‑paced franchise.
- Analytical skills with sound business judgment; proactive problem solving and structured decision‑making.
- Fluency in English and Croatian language.
- Good computer skills.
- Valid B category driving license.
